Assembly is mostly easy, but the stem bolts have tight locktite—a bit of WD-40 helps. The handlebars are packed at a weird angle, so take your time adjusting them to slide into the tube. The 350W model lacks full suspension, so you’ll feel bumps, but it’s manageable if you watch the road.
The built-in lights are decent, but I’d recommend extras for night riding. My main gripe is the short handlebars—maybe all scooters are like this? I’d prefer wider ones. The grips are okay, not super ergonomic, but these aren’t meant for long distances.
Overall, it’s fun to ride, though new riders will need time to learn its limits. I do wish the deck was longer for more comfort.
After a month of using this scooter, I can confidently say the positives far outweigh the negatives. I store it in my car, occupying roughly one passenger's worth of space. There are situations where riding a scooter is far more practical than driving. A round trip to my local convenience store consumes about one-fifth of the battery, with the entire trip taking around 15 minutes, including store time.
The scooter has a sleek design and was quick to master. Once I learned to use the regenerative brakes effectively, I relied on cruise control while applying regen braking when needed. I've reached speeds of 19mph, though I typically ride at 15mph or slower to maximize battery life and range.
I recommend adding extra headlights since the built-in one is weaker than desired. While the motor can handle steep hills, it struggles with speed and power—this is the scooter's biggest limitation. However, given its affordable price, conquering such inclines is impressive.
Overall, I have no regrets purchasing this entry-level scooter. It has sparked a strong interest in electric scooters for me.
