Two minor issues have emerged:
1) When climbing hills at low speed while maintaining throttle, the scooter unexpectedly engages cruise control (indicated by a beep). After cresting the hill when speed increases, applying either brake disengages cruise control quite abruptly. I've learned to barely tap the brake to disengage it smoothly, particularly with the left-hand electric brake.
2) Most controls are right-hand operated: acceleration, rear brake, and bell. The left-hand lever (same design as the throttle) controls regenerative braking that recharges the battery during gentle downhill braking, but lacks strong stopping power. I believe throttle and brakes should be on opposite sides.
Overall I'm really enjoying the scooter. As weather improves, I plan to take longer rides. Based on my research and its solid construction, I'm confident it will prove durable over time.
Assembly was simple, and it was ready to ride fastthough I had to tweak the main tubes stability myself, as the instructions didnt cover it.
The scooter handles my slender adult frame effortlessly, even uphill, and the brakes are impressively strong. The manuals safety details were thorough.
My video shows my second ride after adjustments. As a first-time rider, adapting took no time at all.
Im deducting one star because connecting the app to the scooter was unnecessarily difficult, even after a week of riding.
