Assembly was incredibly simple—just unfold it and secure the handlebars with six screws. The included Allen wrenches didn’t have the right size, but I had a multi-tool that worked. Otherwise, it comes pre-assembled.
There’s also an app for Bluetooth connectivity. You can track the scooter via GPS (though only while riding), switch between D and S modes, control the lights and cruise control, and lock it. The locking feature seems basic since pairing only requires holding the phone near the scooter, but maybe it blocks unauthorized connections—I’ll have to test that.
Cool features include airless tires (no flats!) and regenerative braking. My mechanic friend explained that braking with momentum slightly recharges the battery, indicated by a screen light. I’m curious to see how much it helps when the battery’s low.
Speaking of battery life, it arrived 80% charged and lasted days, even after heavy use at a family gathering. Impressive, especially since some riders pushed it to max speed.
About speed: no one’s hit the claimed 19 mph yet—we’ve topped at 14 mph in D mode before it beeped and slowed down. Maybe S mode is faster, but the manual doesn’t explain the differences well.
Minor downsides: the handlebars feel a bit high for average users, and the manual has awkward translations (like "drive across pedestrians," which made me laugh).
One beginner tip: you need a small push before the throttle engages. It’s in the manual, but I didn’t grasp it immediately. I also panicked at first, forgetting how to brake, but it’s easy to get used to.
Overall, this scooter is sleek, high-tech, and surprisingly capable. My family will use it often, and I’m excited to push its limits.
Pros: The battery lasts a reasonable distance (about 1 hour of continuous riding). Speed is adequate though not exceptional.
Cons: At $200, quality sacrifices are evident. The wheels are stiff, materials feel cheap, and the accelerator occasionally sticks. The headlight is insufficient for dark areas. Acceleration/deceleration feels jerky, and the brakes are problematic - they work but can be unpredictable with sudden locking or loss of grip, requiring careful handling.
I purchased it for occasional fun rides with my kids, which it handles well. However, I wouldn't trust it for long distances or busy commutes due to its limitations. For serious use, I'd invest in a higher-quality model.
I initially questioned whether the deck size would be sufficient, but as a size 13 shoe wearer, I found adequate foot space without feeling restricted. Performance-wise, during my first neighborhood test ride, I consistently reached 19-20 MPH even with minor elevation changes.
Absolutely no buyer's remorse here - I'd repurchase without second thoughts. For the price point, it delivers unbeatable value.
