A few things to note: Theres a foam square under the neck that isnt permanentit blocks the locking mechanism if not removed (I wish Id known that during setup!). Also, the charging port is under the standing deck on the left side (I made a video showing its location). Another observation: My scooter drains the battery slightly faster than my kids scooters, likely due to my higher weight, so weight does affect performance.
That said, theyve been fantasticthe kids adore them, and so do I! As first-time electric scooter riders, we felt comfortable within 5C10 minutes. Tackling a small hill boosted our confidence to use more power, so if you have inclines nearby, Id recommend trying it!

The front basket is perfectly sized for groceries or small items. Seeing how much joy it brings her makes me feel this was one of the best gifts Ive ever given.
The seller contacted me and proposed sending a complimentary scooter if I'd reconsider my review. Despite having received a full refund from the initial return, they wanted an opportunity to change my perspective after I left a 1-star rating for receiving a defective product. They shipped a replacement scooter that functions perfectlyexactly as I'd originally hoped! The acceleration and handling are excellent, and folding the fork for portability is straightforward. This is a clear customer service win!

The scooter had an appealing design but was nonfunctionalit wouldn't charge or operate. Customer support suggested complex electrical repairs far beyond my skill level. Concerned about causing further damage, I processed an Amazon return instead.
Now I'm instructed to return the scooter, await a refund, and repurchase - an impossible 6-week delay for my primary work commute. To add insult, the taillight lens detached during my inaugural ride.

UPDATE:
After extended communication, the manufacturer replaced both wheels with proper solid tires and provided a new rear fender with taillight assembly. Current resolution is satisfactory.
The accelerator switch needed replacement after riding in the rain C the company sent a new one that arrived in a week. The repaired switch handles rain fine now.
The charger burned out around 1,500 miles but without any fire or smell. A replacement fixed that.
Overall, I'm satisfied. Even at 30 cents per kWh (expensive), a full charge costs just 12 cents.
As a heavier rider, I notice air-filled tires go flat more often. Solid tires are harder to change but provide a reliable, though rougher, ride. For me, the tradeoff is worth it.
