Assembly was straightforwardjust secure the handlebar screws into their corresponding holes and adjust the handlebar angle. Since my mom had previously assembled one herself, she completed it in under 10 minutes. I tested the folding mechanism and found it effortless to use, with a secure locking system that prevents accidental unfolding when lifted. The folded scooter is lightweight enough for me to carry alone.
Overall, I believe this electric scooter offers excellent value for the price.
After another month, it's still working great, though the handlebar screws still loosen. Some Loctite should fix that. I also discovered that by downloading the app and connecting the scooter, you can reach 30 mph!
I really like this scooter and plan to buy another. I purchased it in July 2024, and as of September 5th, one of the bolts on the rear suspension stripped, damaging the threading. The bottom cover broke as a result, and the suspension doesn't work as well. I contacted W4MAX and will update when they respond.
Update (September 11th): I managed to reach W4MAXI recommend using their website chat instead of email, as emails take forever. Once I did, the process was smooth, and they were very professional. They initially planned to send a new suspension but ultimately decided to replace the entire scooter! I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. Id definitely recommend this scooter, along with the two-year insuranceyou never know what might happen.
The design shines with thoughtful features: solid tires that don't compromise comfort thanks to excellent suspension (comparable to pneumatic tires), plus no flats to worry about. The folding mechanism is brilliant - when collapsed, it locks neatly against the rear wheel, creating a compact package that fits in our car trunk or hallway closet without bulk.
While we haven't tried the app, the manual controls are intuitive. The thumb throttle provides precise speed control without fatigue, and the disc brake delivers remarkably fast, safe stops. This scooter exceeds expectations in both quality and performance - we couldn't be happier with our purchase.
