Before starting, ***PLEASE*** dip your low beams if using these on the road, and avoid reflector housings (high beams are fine). At this power level, improper aiming WILL blind others. Properly aimed and housed LED headlights are road-safe.
These are extremely bright for their $55 price, punching above their weight like the Hikari Titanova did—revolutionary beam pattern and performance. While other brands offer better light control, these are far from bad (65/100). In reflector/projector combo housings, reflector output is exceptionally controlled (100/100). Highly recommended for projectors; in reflectors, they act like light throwers—intensely bright but risky for low beams due to glare. Ideal for off-road or high-beam use.
Fitment is easy, even in tight housings like Hyundai’s (no mods needed). For fitment issues, universal grommets or extended-depth caps are options. Hyundai models often need adapters, but these LEDs require no extra spacing—compact wiring, ballast, and heatsink make installation hassle-free.
Feedback for POCYBER engineers: Improve cooling. The phosphor chip hits 200°F, which is expected but concerning for longevity. A stronger fan (like Novsight N60’s) and larger heatsink would help. Currently, the fan runs slower, though triple heat pipes aid cooling. Room for improvement, but not critical.
The driver draws 65W initially, stabilizing as it warms up. It runs hot (~130°F) but remains efficient for its compact size, likely channeling more power to the LEDs—hence their brightness.
Build quality rivals Auxbeam F22-GX "GOAT" bulbs—no flashy design, just precision: flawless casting, perfect alignment, and a functional, airflow-friendly fan cover. They’re weighty and solid, with superb QC. Only minor gripe: the braided cables feel overbuilt for the thin wires inside, though this doesn’t affect performance.
Verdict: A stellar 7/10. Well-built, affordable, and bright with good beam control and sustained output. My new daily drivers.
