Unlike generic rebranded options, these seem well-built and distinct (though I'm unsure if they manufacture them).
Instead of saving a few dollars on the cheapest fit, I chose these. Installation was simple, though I've only tested them for a day.
For those replacing HID glass orbs: 1. Verify correct polarity as others noted. 2. Align both LEDs vertically to distribute light evenly in the beam pattern, avoiding glare for oncoming drivers.
The missing cap isn't critical since the fender well's access panel shields against dirt, acting as secondary protection. Extremely satisfied with these - already buying a spare set for future replacement needs.
Additionally, my dashboard displays a low beam failure warning because these LED bulbs draw less current than standard halogens. I was aware of the power difference but expected listed-compatible bulbs to work without modifications like resistors.
These might work well for vehicles with factory LED headlights. The bulbs function properly with accurate color temperature as advertised. While brightness is hard to measure precisely, they appear brighter than Volvo's standard bulbs - though nowhere near the claimed 7x brightness compared to the 1,600 LM OEM units.
